This Legal Notice governs your use of this e-commerce platform and all purchases made from Global Arete Distributors (Pty) Ltd (referred to herein as "the Company," "Arete Global," or "we"). By accessing this website or finalizing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, our Shipping Policy, and our Warranty & Return Policy.

1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR GOODS IN TRANSIT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLOBAL ARETE DISTRIBUTORS (PTY) LTD SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRANSIT LOSSES. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, GOODS THAT ARE LOST, STOLEN, MISSING, OR DAMAGED ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN DEPOSITED WITH A THIRD-PARTY COURIER SERVICE.

Risk of loss and title transfer fully to the purchaser upon dispatch. Transit insurance coverage is solely active if the purchaser explicitly selects and pays for the "Insured" option under freight terms at checkout.

2. WARRANTY COVENANTS & MANDATORY REPORTING TIMEFRAMES While the Company honors a distinct two-year (2-year) limited hardware warranty specifically for COMWAY Equipment against manufacturer defects, all dead-on-arrival (DOA) claims, functional issues, or short-shipments must be reported to service@global-arete.com within forty-eight (48) hours of courier delivery confirmation.

Failure to report hardware discrepancies or faults within this mandatory 48-hour timeframe constitutes an absolute and irrevocable acceptance of the goods in their current state, and waives the buyer's right to immediate out-of-box fault rectification or replacement.

3. PRODUCT COMPLIANCE & PROFESSIONAL USE The equipment and products distributed on this platform are technical in nature. The Company makes every effort to ensure product descriptions, documentation, and technical specifications are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free. The buyer is solely responsible for determining product compatibility and ensuring the hardware meets their technical application requirements.

4. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS When you use this platform or transmit inquiries to service@global-arete.com, you consent to receive legal and operational communications from us electronically. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

5. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION This Legal Notice, your website usage, and all transactional agreements shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the country in which Global Arete Distributors (Pty) Ltd is legally registered and incorporated. Any formal legal disputes arising out of transactions on this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of law within that governing region.
